What to expect when you call or text
- You will speak with a registered nurse who can assess your situation, provide advice, and connect you to supports in your region.
- For the Mental Health and Wellness Support line, you may be prompted to press 1.
- Follow-up support may be offered.
Notes
- If you can’t connect to 811, call 1-844-259-1793 instead. If you’re calling from a cell phone, turning off Wi‑Fi Calling may help.
- You can also use 811 to reach poison control.
